The 2-Day Private Ceramics Hand-building Course is perfect for those looking to try something new and develop their artistic skills, as well as for those interested in learning about the world of ceramics. Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior experience, this course is sure to provide a hands-on learning experience.
The course is 8 hours long in total, with 6 hours dedicated to hand-building and 2 hours to glazing.
This private course (1-2 participants) is designed to introduce you to the world of hand-building with stoneware clay, allowing you to create beautiful ceramic objects just by using your hands. Over the course of two days, participants will learn the basics of hand-building and glazing.
The first day of the course will be dedicated to hand-building, where you will learn the fundamentals of working with clay. You will receive step-by-step guidance for creating your vessels, whether a cup, vase, bowl or any abstract form.
The second day of the course, approximately two weeks later, will be dedicated to glazing. You will learn how to prepare your pieces for glazing and how to apply the glaze. The glazing session will provide a great opportunity to see your pieces transformed, adding the finishing touches to your hand-crafted ceramic objects.
